A Message from the Owners of Spot Power
Greetings,
As a private and local company, we are celebrating 40 years in Alberta’s energy business. UTILITYnet was founded in 1978 and over the last four decades we have been focused on providing energy management services to our province’s Oil and Gas industry. In 2009 we entered the retail market sector with Spot Power to compete head to head against our local city utility and have slowly expanded from selling electricity and natural gas to our family and friends. Today, we have customers in over 300 communities all over the province. Our goal remains just as valid today as it was when we started the company; helping consumers save money on their utility bill.
The summer months have been busy for us as we introduced the "Pick a Date" and "Budget Billing" programs (more information on these can be found below). As we enter the first week of October and the final quarter of 2017, we hope you will find the following information of real value.
Cheers and thank you for your continued support.

Winter is Coming: Time to Add Gas
We got our first real taste of winter this week. Seeing the white stuff fly was a somber reminder that the warm weather we enjoyed this summer is about to come to an end, and winter is on its way.
As you begin to turn those thermostats up, it is time to start thinking about your Natural Gas usage. Did you know that as a Spot Power customer you can add gas to your account with just a few clicks of a mouse? It's simple, just log in to My Account and click on "Add Natural Gas Account" under change requests and follow the prompts.
Get all of your energy from one company by just adding gas!
